Jena teaches writing and is a full-time servant to two feline overlords. She is afraid of the dark (an inconvenient trait for a horror writer) and has a raging Mountain Dew addiction. She occasionally posts mildly unhinged short stories on Reddit's NoSleep forum (u/LyriumDreams). She earned a master's in English in 2022 and has been trying to defend its usefulness ever since. Her hobbies include dancing, playing D&D, and pretending she didn't hear that strange noise. She writes about mostly-good people encountering horrible things.
